Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Role Purpose: Supervise branch warehouse operations within set procedures, to ensure efficient loading and receipt of finished goods, reporting and stock control as per standards

Accountabilities:

• Align warehouse operations to set procedures to ensure compliance and support best in class practices
• Plan and implement slotting in warehouse using standard techniques such as FIFO to improve stock rotation
• Liaise with the quality department to release products on-hold and for any quality issues
• Monitor and report on daily stock movements to inform senior supervisor/regional warehouse manager of variances in stock levels
• Conduct physical count of floor stock
• Adhere to standard HSE and food safety guidelines to ensure safety of staff, product and equipment
• Identify and report operational issues and recommend corrective action to maintain optimal levels of productivity
• Generate load-out report and issue shipment tickets to record stock movement in the system
• For Sales truck loading, verify built sales order to ensure load matching with truck dimensions and verify all picked pallets in assigned zone/area are loaded as per load request
